I didn’t buy any books this week because I’m trying to cut down on the books I take for review so that I can get through the ones I’ve already committed to. This week I borrowed Anna and the French Kiss and The Weird Sisters from the library on audiobook. I received Bookshelf as a gift from my friend Heidi over at Pass the Books.

There are few books in my 2013 TBR pile that I'm going to read slowly, on an ongoing basis because frankly they terrify me. They're thick books about heavy subjects, and the only way I can bear to digest them is to read them slowly.

I’ve heard it’s a fun read, so I got it on audiobook to listen to while I go on walks. So far it leans a bit on stereotypes, but I’ve only read the first three chapters so I can’t judge yet.
